Hi, my name is Dean. I am a software developer, maker and father.

I have over ten years of software-development experience under my belt, ranging from mobile-app and web-dev to cloud and Kubernetes apps, at which point I quickly became disillusioned with the unecessary complexity of most software projects. Since then, I’ve been pursuing a philosophy of simplicity and pushing hard to get back to physical reality. For the last few years, I’ve worked on robotics and embedded applications and am in the process of learning electronics and just about anything else I can get my hands on.

Based in Berlin, originally from Australia. If I’m not tinkering or hacking, then I’ll be swimming, at the gym, dancing, or spending time with my family and friends.
